I’ve put together a map of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco region. See below. It’s in Google Maps and it is fully open so you can create a copy and save to your device for use when you’re in Italy, adding your own locations along the way. Or you can simply use my version for planning your trip.
I don’t know about you but I don’t feel like I have a grasp of a place until I see it plotted out on a map.
It’s a work in progress so I will be adding to it over time. For now it has the basic locations that you need for planning a trip to the region including the airports in Venice and Treviso, and the train stations in each which – both of which will take you to the the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco region in under an hour.
I’ve included the best places to visit in Venice as well as some major landmarks e.g. see where St Mark’s Square is relative to the Santa Lucia train station. For Venice, I’ve also included a list of where to stay in Venice, map points for how to get to Venice from the airport, and the best day trips from Venice.
You’ll also find map locations for various hotels and homestays within the region itself including in Conegliano and Follina. I’ll be adding more soon. If you don’t like being overwhelmed by choice, check out this short list of my favourite places to stay.
And, of course, what would a map of the region be without a list of the vineyards to visit and restaurants to eat at. So, you’ll find those in there too.
